Validity Period for Certain Venezuelan Passports Extended
Passports issued before June 25, 2024 are valid for ten years past their printed expiration date.
On June 25, 2025, the Venezuelan National Assembly decreed that all Venezuelan passports issued before June 25 are valid for ten years after the expiration date printed on the passport or the latest extension (passports had previously been extended for five years).
In compliance with USCIS regulations respecting the ability of an issuing authority to extend the validity period of certain documents, such extended passports are valid for Form I-9 completion. More information from Customs and Border Protection can be found here, and USCIS here (under "Passport Questions for Beneficiaries").
