DHS Announces Extension of Certain TPS EADs
Only certain individuals will have their Employment Authorization Document (EAD; Form I-766) extended by notice.
On June 20, 2024, USCIS announced that certain Temporary Protected Status (TPS) beneficiaries who have an EAD that was extended until June 30, 2024 will have their EAD further extended by individual notice. USCIS will mail impacted TPS beneficiaries a Form I-797, Notice of Action. This Notice can be used to extend their existing EAD through March 9, 2025.
