Annual E-Verify Records Disposal Scheduled by USCIS for January 6, 2025
On January 6, 2025, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will dispose of E-Verify records that are over 10 years old.
To minimize security and privacy risks related to storing personal information, USCIS annually disposes of E-Verify records that are 10 years or older. Employers using E-Verify have until January 5, 2025, to download any historical records. After that date, records not updated since December 31, 2014, will be permanently deleted.
Employers who utilize E-Verify are required to record or print and file the E-Verify case verification number for each corresponding Form I-9. Please note that Truescreen retains this information within our portal for our E-Verify clients, and this process does not affect cases created or maintained in your myTruescreen portal as those records are securely stored.
