Two cities vote to drop salary history question from their applications
Los Angeles and Nashville both voted to prohibit city departments from asking job applicants for their salary histories.
In doing so, the two cities are the latest to enact the trending legislation which aims to address to gender pay gap.
The Los Angeles City Council mentioned that it may consider expanding the salary history ban in the near future to include private employers in the city.
